I Ask My Power To Return To Me

Action and Inspiration

I listen toThe Unmistakabe Creative Podcast hosted by Srini Rao as often as I possibly can.  I have found so much inspiration by listening to his interviews.  Todd Henry's interview called "Harnessing the Power of Your Authentic Voice" has motivated or INSPIRED me to pick up my old Art Journal hobby and start posting again to my blog that only I follow, which is totally ok with me.  I do this for myself and find it so rewarding to see my "work" on the internet at all- even if I put it there!  This is my journal.  Thank you Todd for so many take-aways, nuggets of truth and inspirational but practical words (as Srini put it).  You are appreciated.

Nature III & Gratitude

Delicious By Nature

The universe is not rough-hewn, but perfect in its details. Nature will bear the closest inspection; she invites us to lay our eye level with the smallest leaf, and take an insect view of its plain. She has no interstices; every part is full of life. I explore, too, with pleasure, the sources of the myriad sounds which crowd the summer noon, and which seem the very grain and stuff of which eternity is made.

Keep Coloring Africa

This is an attempt at a little mixed media, although my Bob Marley shows my lack of drawing talent ;)
Used the coloring book prompt to created the background, snapped a pic and completed with digital.
